Self check-in is keyless — your door code and WiFi details are sent securely once your booking is confirmed.

Security Deposit & Cleaning Fee

Every stay includes a $225 cleaning fee and a $500 refundable security deposit. The deposit is automatically charged 2 days before check-in and refunded within 2 days after checkout, provided the cabin is left undamaged and needs no cleaning beyond normal turnover. Replacement costs for damaged bedding, towels, dishes, or other contents are deducted from the deposit before it is returned.

On The Canal

Canal water levels are seasonal. The canal is typically full in summer, drops in fall, and is generally not accessible in winter — water usually returns in April or May, depending on conditions.

Traveling With Pets

We’re so happy you’re bringing your four-legged family member! Dog supplies are provided. Please keep pets off the furniture (dog beds and blankets are provided) and clean up after your dog in the yard before checkout. A $75 pet fee applies per pet, per stay. Maximum 2 dogs. Dog life jackets are available for water days.

House Guidelines

• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, inside or out, with no exceptions — we’re in a high fire-risk area.
• Please turn off lights when you head out to conserve energy and help preserve the night-sky views. If you adjust the A/C or heat during your stay, please return the thermostat to its original setting before you leave.
• Supervise kids and pets near the canal and dock at all times — there is no lifeguard. Adult life jackets are provided and must be worn when using the kayaks, paddleboards, or tubes. Children’s life jackets are not provided — please bring properly fitted, Coast Guard-approved life jackets for children, who must wear them at all times on the dock, near the canal, or on any watercraft. Use of the dock, canal, river, and watercraft is at your own risk.
• Supervise kids in the hot tub at all times.
