Heads up: canal water levels are seasonal — typically full in summer, lower in fall, and generally not accessible in winter. Water usually returns in April or May, depending on conditions.

All direct bookings require a signed rental agreement and quick ID verification. You’ll receive the link by email after booking. Primary guest must be 25+, max 10 guests, up to 2 dogs ($75 per dog). The $225 cleaning fee and $500 refundable security deposit are charged in addition to lodging, taxes, and any pet fee — the deposit is charged 2 days before check-in and refunded within 2 days after checkout, provided the cabin needs no more than normal turnover cleaning.

Security Deposit & Cleaning Fee
Every stay includes a $225 cleaning fee and a $500 refundable security deposit, charged in addition to your lodging rate, taxes, and any pet fee. The deposit is automatically charged 2 days before check-in and refunded within 2 days after checkout, provided the cabin is left undamaged and needs no cleaning beyond normal turnover. Replacement costs for damaged bedding, towels, dishes, or other contents are deducted from the deposit before it is returned.
Taxes
Lodging taxes apply to all stays: Deschutes County Room Tax (8%) and Oregon State Lodging Tax (1.5%). For stays ending on or after January 1, 2027, the state rate increases to 2.75%, including a 1.25% Nature Conservation Fee.
